Free Divorce Workshop
On Saturday, january 24, 2009, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, we will be holding our 30th Annual Free Divorce Workshop at our large conference Room located at at law office, 34 Dumont Ave., Grasmere, Staten Island. Several thousand persons have attended these Free Divorce Workshop since the first was held by Mr. Leininger in 1979. Topics include the following:

AND EXPENSE OF DIVORCE"
1. Alternatives to divorce.
2. Divorce Mediation - what is it? How does it work? Is it better for some than the traditional adversarial Court system divorce? Collaborative Divorce - the newest alternative to an adversarial Court system divorce.
3. Grounds for divorce - if possible, do not litigate over the grounds for divorce.
explanation of New York and New Jersey grounds for divorce including the new New Jersey no-fault ground.
4. Equitable Distribution of Assets and Debts - Be realistic regarding how the marital assets and liabilities will be divided.
5. Alimony & Child Support
a) Be reasonable about alimony.
